Packing for a 9 month trip -Davie

Since we are traveling for a very long time, it's hard at first to decide what to pack! So even if you are going away for 1 month or more, these are the things that I highly recommend to pack in your suitcase!

What to pack in your backpack:
If you are traveling for a long time, it will get SO annoying if your backpack is very heavy, so I highly recommend to not put very heavy things in your backpack. In my backpack I have:
-my Nintendo switch
-my homework
-my basketball
-and my water bottle
Also, try to think VERY carefully about what you are packing. I have sent countless things home with my friends and family. At the end of Japan, we sent a whole suitcase of things back with my Obachama and my Ojichama. For example, don't bring big fat headsets, try to bring airpods, earbuds, or wired earbuds if you can find them. Also things such as pants (bring only one pair), towels (most hotels have them), and big hoodies (don't pack more then one).

Get a cross body bag

I'm sure that you have seen one of these bags before, and I highly recommend to get one of these. Even if you are traveling for like 2 weeks. I'm currently collecting pins on mine! This is what it looks like:
Champion is an awesome brand, and so if Nike, Under Armor, Lululemon, and other brands that you are familiar with. I got this as a Christmas gift from my uncle and I use it every day! This is what I have in it:
-Phone
-Phone charger
-Phone battery pack
-Airpods
-Wallet
-Handgripper
-Gum (watermelon and Mint)
This thing can hold so much stuff 💥

What to pack in your suitcase:
Out of everyone in my family, my suitcase is the lightest, weighing 9 KG. My moms suitcase is 14, my dad's is 15, and my sisters is 12. I packed......

-13 t-shirts
-5 socks
-5 shorts
-2 swimsuits
-1 hoodie
-1 towel (small)
-6 underwear
-1 pair of pants
-1 pair of shoes
-1 pair of slides
And I currently have limited edition Candy and 3 pairs of fake airpods as gifts. But in Japan I had a whole bag that I carried around full of gifts for my friends 💀.

Also, try to keep your suitcase under 10 KG to save money on baggage on flights.
