This month in Australia has bean SO fun, there is so much I love here and there are so many things to do here. here are the top 5 highlights: 1. the gold coast In the gold coast my family and my cosins [Loki and Naya] and my ante [Michelle] whent to Wet and Wild, Movie world, and Sea world. My favorite one is Movie world, I loved the ride D.C rivals it is the fastes, tallest, and longest rollacoster in the sothern hemestfier. It was my cosin Naya's favorite ride to.   At all 3 amusment parks you could get this cup that gave you infanit soda,my cosin and I bought a cup together. On our second day we went  to Wet and wild for my birthday, we met up with my friend Mila and her family.My favorite ride there is kaboom.  2. The beach and surfing Going to the beach is so fun and relaxing aspeshelly in Astralia's hot sun. My favorite things to do are swimming, surfing, and sand castel billding. December 17th - 20th - Adelaide to Melbourne 30 years ago in the summer of 1993 I landed at Cairns international airport to start what would be a year travelling living and working in this incredible country. This is my 5th time travelling to Australia and I still learn and experience something truly unique, fun and awesome every time we visit.  This time, after a fantastic homestay experience in the islands of Fiji, we landed in Adelaide SA and the next day piled into our Jucy campervan to spend the next seven days driving the Great Ocean Road.  On the first day, we picked up the van and drove to the coastal town of Portland Bay. In the dusk driving through my favorite Australian wine region, Coonawarra, we saw many Kangaroos and Wallabies along the roadside (and even had a few jump alongside the van as we zoomed down the highway). Day 1:  After getting of the flight, we took a bus and then a boat to the island where we were going to stay at. There were 4 kids and 1 adult on the boat and the adults name was Josh. The kids looked very excited about are arrival. We walked through a village where I could tell was very different then Vancouver. Everyone was saying "Bula!", which meant hello in Fijian, and everyone looked so happy! We arrived at our home and a lady greeted us and said her name was Ethe. She said that she would be making are meals for the days that we were staying there. She gave us a tour of the house, and then we ate lunch. For lunch we had noodles, rice, and plantain. After the meal are family went snorkeling and saw some really cool fish and coral! It was definitely the most amazing coral I have ever seen in my life. Remote Village Life in the South Pacific Dec. 12 - 16, 2023 Our travel adventure started in a place where the lifestyle and physical setting couldn't be more opposite than the Vancouver life we're used to.  After traveling 28 hours (including a 10-hour layover in San Fran where Dave & Davie enjoyed the 49ers vs. Seahawks game, and Simone and I spent the day in the city), we landed in Nadi in the heat and humidity, made our way to the ferry terminal and caught the Yasawa Flyer ferry northbound about 2 hours. Unsure of what would happen when we arrived at Wayasewa Island, we were pleasantly surprised when a man and a bunch of boys (which we would learn later were our host and his sons/nephews), came to get us from the ferry in their own outboard-powered boat. We spent the next five days in Namara village (population approx 100-125, depending on who you ask) with Ece (pron.
